KUALA LUMPUR: Next week’s Professional Squash Association (PSA) Women’s World Champion­ships here is now “in doubt” after the tournament promoters raised a red flag about security concerns, a move that has left Malaysian authorities both puzzled and angered.

“The Professional Squash Asso­ciation can confirm that the staging of the 2015 Women’s World Championship is currently subject to doubt following an e-mailed recommendation from tournament promoters, Hallmark Events Group,” a statement from the world governing body said.
