MCA man: Traders with no Internet access may not be aware of GST procedures

PETALING JAYA: Businessmen and politicians are asking for leniency in dealing with traders who have yet to register themselves for Goods and Services Tax (GST).

The Customs Department launched Ops Khas GST starting March 1, imposing a compound fine of RM15,000 on errant businesses.
