UPSR leak: Re-examination underway

KUALA LUMPUR: The re-examination for two leaked Ujian Pencapaian Sekolah Rendah (UPSR) subjects is underway.

The Science 018, 028 and 038 papers commenced at 8.15am, Tuesday with the English Language 014/1 and English Language 014/2 papers scheduled for 10.30am and at 12.20pm respectively.

The new date for Mathematics 015/1, 025/1, 035/1 and the Tamil Language 036 and 037 has been fixed for Oct 9.

The re-examinations are being held following leaks in the UPSR examinations involving 472,853 pupils who have to resit the examinations nationwide beginning Sept 9.

On Monday, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak conveyed his best wishes to the pupils involved in the resits.

Najib also praised the patience of parents and teachers in facing the leaks in the examination papers. – Bernama
