PUTRAJAYA: The Federal Court will decide whether non-Muslim lawyers can serve as Syariah lawyers in the Federal Territories.
This followed its approval for the Attorney-General’s Chambers and the Federal Territory Islamic Religious Council (MAIWP) to appeal against the landmark decision by the Court of Appeal to allow non-Muslim lawyers to practice Syariah law.
