Cops met me to assure safety, says Lawrence


PETALING JAYA: Police have met Father Lawrence Andrew, the editor of the Catholic weekly, The Herald, to advise him on matters pertaining to his safety in the midst of the controversy surrounding him.

Father Lawrence confirmed that police called him for a meeting on Friday, adding that it was not to record his statement.
