Journalists get taste of Britain's 'storm of the decade'


I didn’t realise how strong St Jude – billed as Britain’s storm of the decade – would get until I saw the trunk of a large tree outside the hotel I was staying in flexing back and forth due to the strong winds.

The other Malaysian journalists and I were readying to depart the hotel, located near Hyde Park, to travel to Manchester where Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak was scheduled to attend several events.
