MALACCA: For actor Danielle Lau Cheng Hong (pic), the basic kung fu chops he acquired for his roles in films has helped him fend off some armed assailants in a real-life robbery.
The 21-year-old was surfing the Internet at a cybercafe in Semabok here when he was confronted by two machete-wielding men at 4.30pm on July 18.
