Four Genneva directors acquitted


KUALA LUMPUR: Four Genneva Sdn Bhd directors charged with 224 counts of money laundering and five charges of illegal deposit-taking involving more than RM141mil have been acquitted and discharged by the Sessions Court here.

Judge Rozana Ali Yusof ruled that the defence had succeeded in raising a reasonable doubt in the cases against Datuk Ng Poh Weng, Datuk Marcus Yee Yuen Seng, Datuk Chin Wai Leong and former director Liew Chee Wah.
