Be wary of folk asking for Wesak donations

THE Penang Wesak Day celebration organising committee has asked the public to be wary of giving donations to individuals who claim to be representatives of the committee.

Committee chairman Datuk Dr Loh Hock Hun said the committee had not authorised any individuals to solicit funds for the celebration.
