DUBBED as Malacca’s own version of the Petronas “Twin Towers”, the Church of St. Francis Xavier sited at the corner of Jalan Laksamana and Jalan Banda Kaba right in the heart of the heritage city commemorates its 165th founding anniversary this year.
The edifice, based and built on a Neo-Gothic design was erected in 1849 after the then British authorities allocated a land lot to the French missionaries.
