Blind football, disability is no obstacle

RELYING solely on their keen sense of hearing, blind footballers Rodie Jainahum, Mohd Zamha Abdul Wahab and Azril Che Ibrahim actively move their feet in various directions to search for the rattling ball.

Their frantic yells of “Voy” vibrated through the silent pitch to avoid colliding into each other and at the same time, listening to the team’s guide giving instructions at either end of the goal posts.
