Cooking waste converted into biodiesel for schoolbuses

TWENTY secondary schools and two universities in Selangor will be participating in the “Environment Assessment Savvy Youths (Easy) Inter-School Used Cooking Oil Collection” programme, which was launched recently.

Fathopes Energy Sdn Bhd (FHE) managing director, Easy programme founder and Dana Belia 1Malaysia grant recipient Vinesh Sinha said the programme was aimed at empowering and educating students on the environment.
