A STANFORD University study, which named Malaysia as the third-laziest country in the world, is not sitting well with many people in Ipoh.

Those interviewed by MetroPerak said it is unfair to compare Malaysians’ walking habits to those living in colder countries that offer efficient public transport and adequate shielded walkways for pedestrians.
