There may not be many women representatives in local authorities, but those who serve are often a driving force, with many juggling several roles effortlessly.

StarMetro talked to women from five local authorities in Selangor to find out what made them tick, starting with the Shah Alam City Council (MBSA), which has five lady councillors.
