No outdoor activities for students during the current hot spell

KUALA TERENGGANU: Despite recording a moderate temperature of between 32 and 33 degrees Celsius during the afternoons, schools in the state are prohibited from carrying out any outdoor activities during that time of the day.

State Education Department director Shafruddin Ali Hussin said as a precautionary measure, it is a must for all schools in the state to adhere to this directive where no outdoor activities are to be carried out from 12.30pm to 2.30pm due to the El Nino phenomenon.
