IT WAS a revolutionary idea that bagged the grand prize for an architect and a designer during a sculpture competition to honour the nation’s first Agong.

The competition, organised by the Batu Road Retailers Association (Barra) and supported by Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL), was aimed at creating a new landmark for Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman and rebranding the area.
