Lord’s Tailor showcases lightweight shirts, jackets and pants at Pavilion Pitstop 2015

Cool, crisp outfits gave meaning to a relaxed, suave look.

Gents, you need not sacrifice your style for comfort. When the weather warms up, you can still keep your cool. Lord’s Tailor is offering crisp menswear utilising lightweight fabrics and bright colours.

The brand’s Spring/Summer ready-to-wear collection was presented on the runway during Pavilion Pitstop 2015.

Observed were a variety of shirts, jackets and pants that can be worn for any occasion – formal or casual.

Lord’s Tailor creative director Kenny Loh said that the designs are inspired by the Mediterranean summer. They give meaning to a relaxed, suave look, quintessential of Italian men.

“I aimed for casual, yet sophisticated aesthetics. This fits in well with Lord’s ready-to-wear range and provides affordable off-the-rack options for men,” Loh added.

Bright hues like azure, sunburst yellow and vermilion featured extensively on the runway, as well as lots of prints.

Breathable fabrics that don’t compromise on appearance – such as cotton and linen, were also used.

According to Loh, this is the first time Lord’s is sending out shorts on the runway.

The different mix of offerings simply means that guys can have their pick of pieces that they are comfortable with or which complement their personal style. 

The Spring/Summer 2015 Lord’s ready-to-wear collection will be available in the brand’s Pavilion boutique starting from May.
