Daily short walks can improve respiratory health


A simple exercise regimen helps to lower the hospitalisation risk of COPD sufferers, Spanish researchers have found.

NEW research published in the journal Respirology finds that those suffering from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) can reduce their risk of hospitalisation following severe attacks by walking a mere three to six kilometres each day and maintaining that regimen.
