KUALA LUMPUR: Stocks that could be in the spotlight on Friday include CelcomDigi, Chin Hin Property, Astino, Bursa Malaysia, Emico, Frontken, F&N, Sunway REIT and UOA REIT, said Apex Research.

In the news yesterday, CelcomDigi Bhd said it has pulled out from subscribing for shares in DNB.

Chin Hin Group Property Bhd has signed an agreement with Ivory Properties Group Bhd to jointly develop the RM475 million Crown Penang.

Astino Bhd is buying a 884,703 sq ft piece of land in Klang for RM60.16 million for expansion.

Bursa Malaysia Bhd’s 1Q23 net profit declined 17.35% YoY to RM56.17 million.

Emico Holdings Bhd is buying a 20% stake in Kedah-based real estate firm PKB-Operasi Tembaga Sdn Bhd from Permodalan Kedah Bhd for RM3.61 million.

Frontken Corp Bhd’s 1Q23 net profit fell 11% YoY to RM23.58 million.

Fraser and Neave Holdings Bhd's (F&N)’s net profit jumped over 8% to RM101.18 million in 2QFY23.

Sunway Real Estate Investment Trust's (Sunway REIT)'s 1Q23 net property income rose 16.3% YoY to RM138.31 million.

UOA Real Estate Investment Trust (UOA REIT)’s 1Q23 net profit fell 8.8% YoY to RM14.61 million.

Meanwhile, Apex said the FBM KLCI could remain sideways above the suppor tof 1,393 points following the negative performance on Wall Street.

The US market declined overnight after the Federal Reserve raised interest rates by 25 bps.

Similarly, European markets were lower after the European Central Bank followed suit with at 25-basis-point hike.
