MyNews suffers net loss in 2Q


In a statement, the firm said better utilisation of the food processing centre, the revival of business for WH Smith stores and the improvement in gross margin are projected to turn up its financial performance.

PETALING JAYA: MyNews Holdings Bhd has reported a net loss of RM10.2mil for its second quarter ended on April 30, 2022 despite revenue expanding 35.7% to RM141.1mil from a year ago.

The company has launched 95 outlets and had an aggregate of 463 outlets to date and the opening of the economy contributed to growth in the number of outlets and customer footfall.
