Retail investors remain largest net buyers


Retail investors are the largest net buyers for the second week, while foreign investors returned as weekly net buyers of RM56.3mil last week, said CGS-CIMB Research in its key insights into weekly fund flows.

PETALING JAYA: In the week of May 9-13 when the local stock market fell 1.3% week-on-week (w-o-w) due to surprise interest rate hike and weak global market sentiment, local institutional investors were the largest and only net sellers.

On the other hand, retail investors are the largest net buyers for the second week, while foreign investors returned as weekly net buyers of RM56.3mil last week, said CGS-CIMB Research in its key insights into weekly fund flows.
