Brexit-backer Dyson shifts head office to Singapore


James Dyson(pic) came out in favour of Brexit days before the 2016 vote, when he said Britain could be about 18.5 billion pounds better off each year if it left the European Union. But with only weeks before Brexit, other manufacturers are warning of huge damage if no divorce deal is struck.

LONDON: The billionaire inventor James Dyson, an ardent backer of Brexit, has decided to relocate his company’s head office to Singapore in a blow to the UK government.

Dyson Ltd has mushroomed in recent years, driven by a growing customer base in Asia.
