TM to raise RM4bil via sukuk

PETALING JAYA: Telekom Malaysia Bhd (TM) plans to raise a total of RM4bil via the issuance of sukuk to fund its capital expenditure (capex) and business operating requirements.

The telecommunications giant announced in a Bursa Malaysia filing that it had lodged with the Securities Commission the proposed establishment of the sukuk wakalah programmes on Sept 28.
