The contract covers the execution and completion of marine bridge crossing the sea linking Jalan Seri Tanjung Pinang to STP 2 island, embarkment at Grade and all other associated civil engineering works for the proposed STP 2, Pulau Pinang

The construction works of the project will take about 27 months from its scheduled commencement on June 11 and is targeted for completion by Sept 10, 2020.

Kerjaya Prospek said the project was expected to contribute to the revenue, earnings and net asset per share of the group for the financial year ending from 2018 to 2020.

“This is our first project with TPD and I would like to thank them for giving us the opportunity to be part of such an iconic project in Penang. We will endeavour to do our best to deliver the project to the best of our abilities so as to contribute to the development of the beautiful island of Penang,” executive chairman Datuk Tee Eng Ho said in a statement.

“With our strong outstanding order book of approximately RM3.02bil, we expect this project and our various other projects to contribute positively to our top-line and bottom-line growth for the next few years,” he added.
