BSN sees higher number of premium depositors


KUALA LUMPUR: Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN) expects to increase the number of depositors for its premium savings certificate (SSP) in the second half of 2017 amid the improved economy, said senior vice president/head of retail and business community Datuk Mearia Hamzah.

“For the first half of 2017, our depositors rose to 2.8 million, valued at RM3.26bil, compared with 2.62 million (RM3.02bil) recorded in the same period a year ago.
