MAHB records 56% jump in retail sales

SEPANG: Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) has recorded a 56% increase in retail sales over the last five years, said managing director Datuk Badlisham Ghazali.

He said MAHB retailers reported total sales of RM2.1bil last year and this was poised to grow further with the expected increase in passengers.

“MAHB will continue to create great experience for travellers by providing better dining and shopping experience at all its airports,” he told reporters after launching MAHB’s 25th Anniversary Shopping Campaign at KL International Airport on Friday.

With a minimum of RM250 spent at any participating outlets, customers stand a chance to win prizes including a Lamborghini and Mastercard travel experience to London and Paris on business class flights.
