Affin ‘comfortable’ with CET 1 ratio of 12.8%

KUALA LUMPUR: Affin Holdings Bhd is “comfortable” with the bank’s current common equity tier (CET) 1 ratio of 12.8%, said group chief executive officer Kamarul Ariffin.

Affin Holdings is not looking to raise capital for now as it is comfortable with the bank’s current common equity tier (CET) 1 ratio of 12.8%. The CET refers to common stock held by banks or other financial institutions and gives an idea of a bank’s financial health.
