KUALA LUMPUR: The FBM KLCI fell 5.05 at the midday close points amid a broadly negative day for Asian equities as geopolitical concerns in North Korea, Afghanistan and Syria compelled investors to switch equities for safe haven assets.
The index closed at 1,733.13 points at midday, having earlier fallen to an intraday low of 1,730.51 points.
