Gas Malaysia Q4 net profit up five times

PETALING JAYA: Gas Malaysia Bhd’s net profit for the fourth quarter ended Dec 31 rose five times to RM51.59mil from a year ago, while revenue dropped 10% to RM1.05bil from RM1.17bil.

The company said the jump in profit was mainly due to a higher gross profit in line with the increase in the volume of gas sold, tolling fees and assets contributed by customers.
