Ho Hup JV with DSE wins RM221.4mil Sg Besut contract

KUALA LUMPUR: Ho Hup Construction Co Bhd’s unincorporated joint venture (JV) with DSE Construction Sdn Bhd has clinched a RM221.4mil contract under the project to rehabilitate Sungai Besut, Terengganu.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the construction qnd property development company said the JV firm would supply machinery, equipment, tools, labour and materials to construct a breakwater, revetment, silt curtain and beach nourishment; install settlement plates and undertake all associated works.

Ho Hup’s share in the unincorporated JV is 80.7%.

According to Ho Hup, the contract’s duration is about 36 months and work is scheduled to start this month.

DSE Construction’s principal activities are construction and services and rental of plant and machinery.
