Duke phase 2 cost to remain at RM1.18bil

KUALA LUMPUR: Ekovest Bhd, the developer of the Duta-Ulu Kelang Expressway (Duke) Phase 2, said the construction cost of the project, scheduled for completion in January 2017, remains at RM1.18 bil.

“About 72%of the Duke Phase 2 has been completed. Despite the economic downturn, the cost remains at RM1.18bil as Ekovest has taken advantage of cheaper materials brought about by declining oil and steel prices,” Ekovest managing director Datuk Seri Lim Keng Cheng said yesterday.
