Jimah power plant valued at RM2.4bil

THE 2,000 MW coal-fired power plant in Jimah, Port Dickson which is 70% owned by Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB), is now worth an estimated US$562mil (RM2.4bil).

Japan’s Chugoku Electric Power reportedly would buy a 15% stake in Project 3B, for 10 billion yen (US$84.3mil) from Mitsui & Co Ltd, which currently owns a 30% stake.
