New CEO for DRB-HICOM, CIMB names new Islamic Bank head

PETALING JAYA: DRB-Hicom Bhd, with businesses ranging from automotive to banking, has appointed Datuk Seri Syed Faisal Albar Syed Ali Rethza Albar (pic) as new group chief executive officer (CEO) to succeed Tan Sri Mohd Khamil Jamil, who will be retiring next year.

Syed Faisal, who resigned from his post as CEO at Malakoff Corp Bhd earlier this month, will take the helm at the diversified group effective Jan 4, 2016.
