Former IJM Corp CEO Teh Kean Ming now helms Keladi Maju


Teh re-emerges in the corporate sector after a short "retirement."

KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Teh Kean Ming, who retired as IJM Corp Bhd managing director (MD) and chief executive officer in April, has re-emerged as MD of property development and oil palm plantation firm Keladi Maju Bhd.

Keladi Maju told Bursa Malaysia that the 60-year-old property and construction veteran took over from Datuk Chuah Chin Ah, 63, who had been MD since 1986.

Chuah, who co-founded Keladi Maju, has been promoted to executive deputy chairman effective July 1.

Teh was group general manager of IJM Corp from April 1, 2001 to Dec 31, 2004. He was also the head of the property division of IJM from 2001 to 2008 and MD of IJM Properties Sdn Bhd from Jan 1, 2005 to June 10, 2009.

Keladi Maju closed at 29.5 sen on Wednesday, up 0.5 sen.
