NEW AND IMPROVED: Soundcloud
The music streaming application has added new features and functionality in its update that went live on July 2.
In the wake of the much talked-about Apple Music launch, another popular music streaming application – Soundcloud – has unveiled an important update to its iOS application.
New features include: a "Play Related Tracks" option with an improved algorithm, shuffle and direct editing for playlists, and social sharing features.
The significance behind these improvements to the application is Soundcloud's decision to focus on sharing and discovery, especially when it looks like Apple Music might be a competitive threat. — AFP Relaxnews
