Lenovo’s feeling the Vibe

Lenovo has just launched the Vibe X Android 4.2 premium smartphone, which comes with a 5.0in 1,920 x 1,080pixel screen.  

Being a premium smartphone, the Vibe X features pretty hefty specifications, namely a 1.5GHz MTK 6589w quad-core CPU, PowerVR SGX544 GPU, 2GB RAM, 16GB built-in eMMC memory and a 2000mAh battery with a rated talk time of up to 16 hours and 12 days standby.  

The Vibe X however does not have a memory slot for storage expansion.  

The rear camera on the Vibe X is a 13-megapixel camera with a back-­illuminated sensor while the front facing camera is 5-megapixels.  

Externally the Vibe X has a stylish design with a laser-engraved fabric feel surface on the back cover and Gorilla Glass 3 on the front for better impact protection.  

The phone itself is only 6.9mm thick and weighs just 121g.  

The Vibe X is available in silver and has a pretty reasonable suggested retail price of RM1,299.
