Malaysian women gymnasts bag bronze in Scotland meet

PETALING JAYA: The Malaysian women’s artistic gymnasts rose to the occasion to bag a bronze in the team event at the Artistic Celtic Cup-Commonwealth Invitational in Perth, Scotland.

The Malaysian team of Tan Ing Yueh, Nur Eli Ellina Azmi, Farah Ann Abdul Hadi and Rachel Yeoh amassed a total of 145.200 points to finish third at the Bells Sports Arena on Saturday. Hosts Scotland won the gold with a 156.450 total while Northern Ireland collected 147.800 points for second place.
