Sime Darby players to fight for their futures in Malaysia Cup playoff

PETALING JAYA: Sime Darby coach Ismail Zakaria wants his players to treat their Malaysia Cup playoff against Premier League side Johor Darul Ta’zim II at the Tuanku Abdul Rahman Stadium in Paroi on Tuesday night as an audition.

Sime Darby are playing in the second-tier Premier League next season after being relegated from the Super League and Ismail is using the playoff to enable him to cull the deadwood in the team.
