JOHOR BARU: Fancy watching the likes of Marco Reus, Mats Hummels, Nuri Sahin, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Shinji Kagawa in action here?
Well, wait no more.
Tickets for the July 9 friendly between Super League champions Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) and Germany’s Borussia Dortmund – at the 30,000-seat capacity Larkin Stadium – are on sale now.
This will be the eight-time Bundesliga champions’ second trip to Asia. They first toured Asia in 1997.
Dortmund will be in Japan first to play J-League side Kawasaki Frontale on July 7.
JDT have a number of national players in their ranks, including Safiq Rahim, Safee Salee and Gary Steven Robbat, who underwent a three-month training stint with the German club earlier this year. The Southern Tigers will also be relying on Argentine duo Luciano Figueroa and Jorge Diaz to spearhead their attack against the European club.
Tickets for the match have been sold exclusively via online since June 23 through the TicketPro website. The tickets are priced at RM280 (grandstand), RM180 (open stand) and RM130 (behind the goal areas).
Fans can also purchase limited edition merchandise to commemorate the historic match between the two sides.
Those wishing to pre-order the merchandise can visit the Southern Tigers’ website at www.johorsoutherntigers.com.my.
