JAKARTA: It will not be long before shuttler Lee Chong Wei passes on the baton to the next generation of players, but there are no signs of any worthy takers.

At the World Championships on Sunday, Chong Wei's best was not good enough to beat Chen Long of China in the men's singles final. Chong Wei lost 14-21, 17-21 to finish runner-up in the world meet for the third time.
