THE tragic earthquake in Nepal which claimed over 3,000 lives serves as another reminder that disasters can happen anywhere, at anytime and to anyone. Malaysians are fortunate that we are not at high risk of such catastrophes. We are relatively safe at home but what when we are abroad and become victims of such disasters?

Our National Security Council has done much to raise awareness and set out guidelines to inform Malaysians of safety precautions and measures.
