I BELIEVE that credit should be given when credit is due. I received a SMS from my bank a few days ago informing that my bank balance had increa-sed. At that time I couldn’t figure out where the extra money came from.
When I logged into my internet-banking account, I was surprised that Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri Malaysia (LHDN) had transferred an amount to my bank account for tax refund for the year 2012.
I have yet to receive any letter from LHDN on the refund nevertheless getting your tax refund within a month is incredible.
I was even more surprised that the amount was higher then what I had submitted to LHDN. Upon checking, I found that I had keyed-in the wrong figure.
Kudos to LHDN for the improved and commendable efficiency.
