GEORGE TOWN: Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng (pic) has come under fire for claiming that the state government recognised the Unified Examinations Certificate (UEC), just because a UEC graduate was hired as the general manager of the Penang Green Council (PGC).
MCA deputy president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong lambasted Lim for making the claim, saying the council was actually a private company called PGC Strategies Sdn Bhd.
