KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak has formally announced that negotiations on the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) will continue to next year to allow more time for constructive engagements between participating countries.
Delivering a joint-statement on the sidelines of the 27th Asean Summit on Sunday, the Prime Minister noted that “substantial progress” had been achieved and fundamental issues resolved after 10 rounds of negotiations between Asean member nations and their free trade agreement partners.
