KUALA LUMPUR: More funds are being proposed to be set aside for the construction of affordable homes as a way of generating the country’s economic activity.

Urban Wellbeing, Housing and Local Government Minister Datuk Abdul Rahman Dahlan (pic) said he had asked for more allocation for the People’s Housing Programme, My Home Scheme, Transit House and other low-cost housing in Budget 2016.
