Senior ranking LTTE fighter deported to Sri Lanka


KUALA LUMPUR: A senior ranking Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) fighter was detained in the city on Aug 7.

The 37-year-old Sri Lankan man, who entered the country in Dec 2012, using a social visitor’s pass, was arrested following a special operation by the Bukit Aman Special Branch Counter Terrorism Division.
