PETALING JAYA: "Genuine" whistleblowers are welcomed and protected under Malaysian laws, provided they do not go through the media, said Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar.
Khalid said that the Malaysian police welcomes whistleblowers that come in the "proper way".
