Ex-newscaster Gu to speak on power of languages in finale of reality TV series


Talented speaker: Gu beat 50 other participants to reach the last leg of the oratory challenge.

BEIJING: Armed with a desire to promote the Malaysian Chinese community in China, Victor Gu has succeeded in doing so through his eloquence on the reality TV series I Am Speaker here.

“My main motive for taking part in the programme is to introduce the Malaysian Chinese community to the audience in China,” the 37-year-old Malaysian said over the phone here, after he made it to the top three of the oratory challenge.
