Terengganu MB: Shopping malls to close during Friday prayers from 2015

KUALA TERENGGANU: Effective next year, all shopping malls in Terengganu will be ordered to close for two hours on Friday to prevent Muslim youth from "escaping" Friday prayers.

Mentri Besar Datuk Ahmad Razif Abd Rahman (pic) (Seberang Takir-BN), during the state assembly meeting Tuesday, said the state executive council made the decision during a meeting last week.
