Mechanic in rubbish-dumping argument charged with woman's death


GEORGE TOWN: A mechanic has been charged in a Sessions Court here with the death of a woman, who was run over and killed after an alleged argument with him over dumping rubbish last week.

Chow Teik Leong, 53, from Bagan Ajam, Butterworth, claimed trial Friday to intentionally causing the death of Lee Seoh Pheng, 47, by knocking her down at a lane below the Taman Desa Intan flats in Jalan Thean Teik, Bandar Baru, Air Itam here at around 12.40am on Nov 21.
